Telliskivide tööd /// Heritage house in middle of its facelift, steel en route

The heritage wing of KESKUS (formerly known as 11 Madison Avenue), has its scaffolding and heat retention enclosure up around the east and south walls, and the brick and stone remediation work is well underway. There is some urgency with this so that especially the east face can get concluded before steel arrives. /// Muinsuskaitse all oleval KESKUSe hooneosal, mis varem aadressiga 11 Madison Avenue, on ida- ja lõuna fasaadidel kaetud tellingute ja soojust hoidva ümbrisega. Telliste ja kivide restaureerimine on täies hoos. Sellega on kiire, et eriti idakülg saaks enne terase saabumist lõpetatud.

Inside, work continues in the basement area behind the heritage house with electrical and mechanical system installations. TTC is concluding its preparations for the waterproofing and remediation of the eastern portion of the tunnels that are now under grade beams and do not impact the KESKUS overall schedule.

Arrival of the crane to install the steel, currently in production, was delayed on its current job site with the winter weather. It will arrive mid-March and the steel will arrive shortly thereafter. Please follow the KESKUS social media channels for more real time updates. Once steel starts arriving, the KESKUS site will be hive of activity right through to when KESKUS opens its doors. /// Praegu tootmisjärgus terase paigaldamiseks mõeldud kraana saabumine on viibinud lumekoguse tõttu.
