Over the holidays and into January, the TTC erected an enclosure over the tunnels to maintain consistent temperatures while sensitive tunnel restoration work is undertaken. This repair work is underway and is time consuming since it must be done in sequence so that the integrity of the tunnel is never in question. /// Pühade ajal ja jaanuaris püstitas TTC tunnelite kohale ümbrise, et hoida ühtlast temperatuuri tunneli tundliku taastamise ajal. See remonditöö on aeganõudev, kuna seda tuleb teha järjestikku, et tunneli terviklikkus ei oleks kunagi kahtluse all.
Work also continues on the concrete constructed elements of the building on the northern part of the site. The basement walls, columns and the first lift of the elevator shaft are close to completion. Forming for the ground floor slab is already under way and will installation of rebar has begun, as seen in the below picture. This slab will then be poured in two sections. /// Tööd jätkuvad ka objekti põhjaosas asuva hoone betoonkonstruktsioonielementidega. After that, attention will turn to the completion of the concrete work in the basement of the heritage house and construction of the below grade connection between the house and the basement of the new centre. /// Seejärel pööratakse tähelepanu muinsuskaitsealuse maja keldri betoonitööde lõpetamisele ning maja ja uue keskuse keldri vahelise madalama astme ühenduse rajamisele.
