Update/Teade #174
Underpinning of the heritage house continues from both the inside and the outside of the structure. Having hit heavy clay, it continues to be quite the job, but the first lift is done and the second and third lifts in the rear and side of the house should be completed in the next weeks. /// Muinsuskaitsealuse maja vundamendi süvendamise tööd, jätkuvad nii hoone seest kui ka väljastpoolt. Olles sattunud silmitsi tahke tsemenditaolise saviga, on see tööst saanud pigem poolteist tööd! Siiski, esimene tõste on tehtud ning teine ja kolmas tõste mis lähevad juba kiiremini ja toimuvad majast väljaspool ida ja lõuna aladel peaksid valmima lähinädalatel.
Vaadata saab viimase kuu ehitustööde edu: /// April construction video here: https://youtu.be/Hkf6fY51ewc and for an overview on the deep foundation work completed, watch here: https://youtu.be/fdsnjmxSC_I
With a tight site, moving equipment around becomes an intricate dance. Were you at the ceremonial groundbreaking last year? If so, the last of the parking lot asphalt on which we then stood, protected the subway tunnels, is now getting removed and advancing excavation considerably! /// Kitsa ehitusobjekti puhul muutub hiigelmasinate ja varustuse liigutamine keerukaks tantsuks. Kes tseremoniaalsel ehitustööde alustamisel viibis eelmise aasta aprillis, see teab, et seisime parkla asfaltil. Viimane asfalt millel me siis seisime, ja mis terve see aeg kaitses maaaluseid metrootunneleid raskete masinate tegeuvse eest süvavundamendi töödel, on nüüd eemaldamisel – tunnelid tulevad pea ilmavalgele!
This brings us closer to Phase II of construction, read more about the project on the www.estoniancentre.ca/news-events blog. /// See kõik toob meid üha lähemale ehituse II etapile, loe projekti kohta lähemalt www.estoniancentre.ca/uudised.
